2. Platform Selling Intermediary Role & Package Responsibility Clause
Genus functions as both a direct travel package organizer and a technology selling marketplace for verified third-party travel agencies. Operational responsibility is defined strictly by package ownership:

- Partner Marketplace Packages: For all tour packages listed by third-party partner travel agencies (marked as "Partner Package" or showing the Partner Agency badge), the respective Partner Tour Operator holds 100% full legal, financial, and operational responsibility for itinerary fulfillment, hotel stays, vehicle transfers, guide safety, and customer service. Genus acts purely as a selling platform and holds zero liability for partner operational defaults or service gaps.
3. Traveler Booking & Payment Channels
Travelers may complete booking payments through two authorized mechanisms:
- Platform Payment via Genus: Payments collected securely by Genus will be disbursed to the designated Partner Operator within 3 to 7 working days via bank transfer after deducting Genus's 10% platform commission.
- Direct Partner Payment: Travelers may elect to pay the Partner Operator directly. In such instances, the Partner Operator remains solely liable for issuing receipt vouchers and fulfilling all contractual obligations.
4. Custom Package Builder Bidding Rules
When a traveler submits a custom tour package request, verified Partner Operators in the target destination receive notification emails and may submit custom proposals prior to the specified expiration deadline. Travelers retain absolute discretion to review, negotiate, or accept proposals directly from their customer dashboard.
