Herita/te Tax
e On 1st January 2025 the Melaka State Government had imposed a mandatory RM4.00 nett Heritage Tax Fee per occupied room per night for all hotel accommodation. This fee may change without prior notice.
Tourism Tax
In compliance with the following the announcement of Malaysia Tourism Tax Act 2017 by the Royal Malaysia customs Department, RM10.00 nett per room per night will be collected except for MyKad Holder, Permanent Resident of Malaysia as well as those with a valid working permit/visa.
Swan Garden will collect these fees directly from all your guests upon their check-in. Please assist to inform all your guests about these compulsory amounts to be paid directly to the Hotel on check-in.

CHECK IN / CHECKOUT
Official check-in time is 3.00pm (1500hrs) and check-out time is 12.00noon (1200hrs).
Check-in before the official time and check-outs after the official time are on request basis subject to availability and unless contractually agreed, a surcharge of 50% of contract rate may be imposed.
EARLY CHECK-IN PROCEDURES
Any check in prior to 3.00pm (1500hrs) is subject to room availability.
Any check-in prior to 7.00am (0700hrs) will be charged the full daily rate appropriate for the booking corporate client.
LATE CHECK OUT PROCEDURES
The official check-out time is at 12.00noon (1200hrs). Rooms that are not vacated at 12 noon will be considered as late check out. Delayed check-out up to 02 hours may be granted by The Front Office Manager based on availability of rooms without additional room charges being imposed.
Any check-out thereafter AND prior to 6.00pm (1800hrs)- a fee base of the room rate offered will be imposed and to be paid for upon check-out. This late check-out charge applies regardless whether the guest specifically requested for a late check- out or simply/failed to check-out on time.
